I Heart Art WORK/Wassaic Spring Fundraiser

The Wassaic Project and WORK Gallery team up again in 2010!

Once again, in collaboration with WORK Gallery, The Wassaic Project invites you to submit work of any genre to be exhibited at WORK Gallery on April 17th, 2010 for our 2010 fundraiser. All work will be donated to the two organizations and the proceeds will benefit the exciting duo.

1. Create your artwork or wall mountable piece in the dimensions of 5" x 7" or 7" x 5" (Only work of these dimensions is eligible.)

NOTE: All work must be delivered ready to be hung. If hanging materials are not provided WORK/WASSAIC will hang the piece with map pins. If map pins are insufficient and no other hanging materials/clear instructions are provided WORK/WASSAIC does not guarantee the piece will be hung.

2. Mail or hand deliver your piece to WORK Gallery: 65 Union Street, Brooklyn NY 11231

-FOR HAND DELIVERY: WORK Gallery will be open for drop off on Saturday & Sunday, April 10th & 11th, 11am to 4pm.
-FOR MAILED WORK: Artwork must arrive at WORK Gallery by Saturday, April 10th


SALES / EXHIBITION INFO:
All 5" x 7" works will be priced at $60 at the Benefit, with all proceeds going to WORK Gallery and The Wassaic Project. All accepted artists and accompanying bios will be displayed at WORK gallery and names will be listed on the websites of WORK and The Wassaic Project.

Any work that is not sold will be returned to artists who enclosed a SASE. Make sure that the SASE had adequate padding and is DIFFERENT from the packaging the work was sent in. Make sure to address the SASE. We will not address it for you. Any unsold work that is not ac- companied by a SASE upon submission must be picked up on Monday, April 19th, between 11am and 4pm. Any unsold work that is not accompanied by an SASE or picked up by the deadline will become the property of The Wassaic Project.

The Wassaic Project Summer Festival 2010 is sponsored by The Solo Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Donations of artworks are tax deductible.

JURORS:
All submitted works will be considered by a panel of professionals from both the WORK Gallery and The Wassaic Project. We look forward to reviewing your work.
